Dr Kerri-Anne Van Munster
Behavioural and Developmental Paediatrician

Dr Kerri-Anne Van Munster is a developmental and behavioural paediatrician specialising in developmental delay, Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She is passionate about providing a wholistic, strength-based approach to support healthy development and well-being. She is dedicated to providing a neuroaffirming approach and understanding each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
Dr Van Munster graduated from University of Newcastle medical school in 2010 and completed her paediatrics training through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. She further subspecialised in developmental paediatrics and has worked in a number of community and developmental paediatric departments including: Sydney, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Tumbatin, Northern Sydney and South Eastern Sydney. She also has experience working with children in out of home care, and children of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Refugee background.
She works as a Staff Specialist developmental paediatrician in the Developmental Disability Assessment Team for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Dr Van Munster is an accredited user of standardised assessment tools, such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Griffiths Scale of Child Development.
She is currently studying a Master of Public Health at Sydney University. She is a member of the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP), the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP).
